Humanitarian, social and religious action of the ACDI, this year 2015, through its primary health care program took place in this month of November 2015 from 9 to 11 in the locality of Tabligbo in the prefecture of Yoto. Three big important days for this community that was the city kept for this 4th program, the mobile clinic organized every year by ACDI with its American partners, the Mission to The World (MTW) and the New Harvest Missions International (NHMI).
The church collaborator for this program of medical help was the Global Evangelical church (GEC) controlled by the pastor John AZIATO in order to also lead his mission of evangelism and salvation of souls. The medical team composed of expatriates Americans, the Rév. Nathaniel ADAWONU, the Rev. Willard Larose, the Doctor Scott L. Yagel, and his wife Lynne Yagel , the Doctor Aron Brady, Mrs. Janice Mosley Langer, the nurse Anne Marie Mcintosh and her daughter Rachel , the nurse Mrs. DUNYO Alice from Ghana and the ACDI’s Executive Director the Rév. Salomon K KPOTUFE with his staff.
The opening church
The big Mass of opening planned for this event immediately began the Sunday morning toward 10 hour with the arrived of the medical team of Lomé. Followed the predication made by Dr. Scott L. Yagel after the installation and the presentation, then the announcement of the progress of the program of health cares.
In the afternoon, the staff and some members of the church met for the implantation of stands and the setting up of medicines. From the table of registration to the pharmacy are on the sit the stand of consultation, pediatrics, treatment, ophthalmology and the laboratory.
Medical treatment
Monday the 09, very early in the morning toward 7h30, the surrounding wall of the church was already full of patients according to the early devotion directed by the pastor Chico Tossou, responsible of the district of Global Evangelical Church in the prefecture of Yoto. At 8 o'clock, the team was already in place, each getting settled in his/her stand after the prayer of opening. More of 600 patients are recorded during these three days. Several cases of illness have been diagnosed and treaties as hypertension, the asthma, the genital infections, the cutaneous infections, the diabetes, the painful rules, anemia, the malaria and headaches, pain of hip, of knees generally at people of age advanced
Unfortunately some cases as the epilepsy, the cataract and the sexually transferable illnesses don't have cannot be treated as well as of other patients because being too numerous the regret of doctors and physicians'.
Those who waited patiently outside for their tower for the consultation were sensibilized by Mrs. Lynne Yagel on the elementary rules of hygienic. Several vitamins have also been distributed to all those that were there, because anemia being noticed at most patients.
While treatments on the physical body happened inside stands, sittings of deliverance prayer took place outside in the run on certain patient of which the nature of their pains was spiritual order. A program of evangelism took place all evenings
The last day, in the afternoon, the medical team has been honored by the visit in person of the prefect of Yoto his excellence Mr Gado TOUDEKA during which a rain fell on all the city freeing the cool air currents that decreased the heat as well as the tiredness felt. Mr Gado TOUDEKA after having visited stands of consultation, of treatment, the laboratory and the pharmacy saw the serious and devoted work that made the doctors with the help of interpreters gave a speech in which he congratulated and encouraged the medical team, the church and promoters of this program.
So toward 5 o’clock in the afternoon closed the doors of the Mobil Clinic 2015.
