A delegation from the Christian Alliance for Integral Development (ACDI), led by its President and accompanied by its financial partner ANESVAD, visited the villages of Zogbépimé and Agbadzanaké in the Avé prefecture on Thursday, February 5, 2025. The mission provided an opportunity to assess the progress of the construction of improved traditional chicken coops, undertaken as part of a livestock project aimed at the economic, social, and nutritional inclusion of populations affected by Buruli ulcer and leprosy in the Avé, Kpélé, and Zio prefectures.

The ANESVAD delegation consisted of Vanessa Otero, Project Coordinator, and Arantza Chacon, Director of the ANESVAD Foundation. During their site visit, the partners were able to appreciate the quality of the work and the commitment of the beneficiaries.

Following the visit, a steering committee meeting was held at the Avé 1 town hall, followed by a bilateral meeting between ACDI and ANESVAD at the institution’s headquarters. These discussions provided an opportunity to review the project’s implementation and define the next steps. Both parties expressed their satisfaction with the progress of the work, reaffirming their shared commitment to strengthening the livelihoods of the beneficiary communities.
