In worry to provide primary health care to people living in rural area of Togo who have little or no access to advanced health care, the NGO ACDI with their foreign partner, organized one week of free mobile medical clinic in the community of kpalimé in years 2011, 2012 and at Anié and Nyamésila in August 2013.
This medical team under the conduct of Doctor Scoth and later with Rev. Will is composed of doctors and nurses from ''Mission to the world'', the missionary branch of Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) based in United States. They have provided a medical aid while giving some free primary cares; thousands of people mobilized themselves in consequent to benefit from these treatments.
For the success and well organization of the event, several rooms for treatments were prepared; we distinguish dental room, pediatrics, ophthalmology, etc. Many medicines, medical glasses, prostheses and mosquito net have been distributed for free.
ACDI in her Christian action to the service of communities believes that primary health cares are fundamental human right and recognizes that a population in good health is necessary for the growth and the development of all society.
