From September 1st to 5th, 2025, the Saint Joseph Hospital of Datcha hosted a free surgical campaign dedicated to the treatment of hernias. Au total, 19 patients ont b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 l\u2019intervention chirurgicale de qualit\u00e9, enti\u00e8rement prises en charge. Ces op\u00e9rations ont permis aux b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires de retrouver la sant\u00e9 et de tourner la page d\u2019une affection qui, dans certains cas, limitait leurs activit\u00e9s quotidiennes et professionnelles.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Selon les responsables de l\u2019ACDI, cette campagne r\u00e9pond \u00e0 une pr\u00e9occupation majeure : offrir aux communaut\u00e9s rurales un acc\u00e8s \u00e9quitable aux soins sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s, souvent inaccessibles en raison de leur co\u00fbt \u00e9lev\u00e9. \u00ab Nous voulons donner une chance \u00e0 ceux qui n\u2019ont pas les moyens financiers de se soigner. La sant\u00e9 est un droit fondamental et nous nous engageons \u00e0 le rendre effectif \u00bb, a soulign\u00e9 un repr\u00e9sentant de l\u2019ONG.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Pour sa part, le Dr. Tiv Ashanti JOHNSON a exprim\u00e9 sa satisfaction de pouvoir contribuer \u00e0 cette action solidaire. Il a salu\u00e9 la qualit\u00e9 de la collaboration avec l\u2019\u00e9quipe m\u00e9dicale de l\u2019h\u00f4pital saint Joseph de Datcha, tout en encourageant la poursuite de telles initiatives qui apportent un soulagement r\u00e9el et durable aux populations.<\/span><\/h3>\n

En menant cette campagne, l\u2019ACDI confirme son engagement en faveur de la sant\u00e9 communautaire, de la solidarit\u00e9 sociale et du d\u00e9veloppement int\u00e9gral. L\u2019organisation entend poursuivre ses efforts afin d\u2019\u00e9tendre ce type d\u2019actions m\u00e9dicales \u00e0 d\u2019autres localit\u00e9s du pays, dans le but de toucher un plus grand nombre de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires et d\u2019am\u00e9liorer durablement l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux soins.<\/h3>\n
