As part of the ongoing implementation of the \u201cEducation for All\u201d project, the NGO Christian Alliance for Integral Development (ACDI) and its financial partner New Harvest Mission International (NHMI) distributed school kits to 100 vulnerable children from the communities of Kp\u00e8l\u00e8, Amakpap\u00e9, Atsitsoho\u00e9, Kponou, and Asrama on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. The ceremony was held in Kp\u00e8l\u00e8, in the presence of Catechist WILLIAM Komlavi Ako\u00e9t\u00e9, parents, coordinators, and facilitators of the project.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

These kits, consisting of notebooks, pens, pencils, rulers, chalk, khaki fabric, and school bags, are intended to ease the burden on families for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year and to encourage children to stay in school, especially girls, who are often at risk of dropping out early.<\/span><\/h3>\n

LAKOUGNON Piyalo, <\/strong>a parent, expressed his gratitude: <\/span>“I would like to thank the NGO ACDI, which came in the name of Jesus. The love they show us is a great blessing. May the Lord of Hosts keep them in good health so they can continue to make our children smile. Thanks to this NGO, our students will now be able to learn in better conditions. May God’s grace be upon all the staff of this organization.”<\/span> <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

This activity is part of a broader effort to reduce inequalities in access to education in rural and disadvantaged areas by creating conditions conducive to academic success. Through this concrete action, CIDA once again confirms its deep commitment to inclusive and equitable education.<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u201cWe are here today to encourage parents and, above all, to strengthen children’s schooling, especially that of young girls,\u201d said Ms. Ayindo, the project coordinator. She also praised the strong mobilization of parents and children, saying, “This demonstrates their commitment to the project and their willingness to get involved. It is a real encouragement for us to continue our actions and to consider other forms of support, with God’s grace,” <\/em><\/strong>she continued.<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0According to the coordinator, the selection of beneficiaries is based on specific social criteria. The child must be orphaned by one or both parents and live less than two kilometers from the school to allow for proper monitoring through home visits.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Through concrete actions such as this, ACDI is paving a path of hope, reminding us that every child, regardless of their background, deserves a fair chance to build their future through education.<\/span><\/h3>\n
