The NGO Christian Alliance for Integral Development (ACDI), in partnership with New Harvest Mission International (NHMI) and with financial support from the IPC Foundation, trained sixty parents and community stakeholders on best practices in poultry farming in the region from November 17 to 21, 2025.

Organized in the villages of Lèziyo Bomdè Tcharè, Lassa-Houdé, and Soumdina-Haut, these training sessions enabled 36 women and 24 men, including 50 parents of vulnerable children and 10 community leaders, to strengthen their skills in modern livestock farming, hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention, and brood management.

At the end of the training, each participant received a livestock kit consisting of waterers and feeders to support the start-up or expansion of their poultry farming activities.

According to ACDI, this initiative is part of the “EduEvangelization” project, which aims to sustainably improve the living conditions of vulnerable families. The beneficiaries, satisfied with the practical approach adopted, stated that they are now ready to manage structured and profitable livestock farming, a key step toward their economic empowerment and the improved well-being of their children.
