The populations of eight villages trained on baby flour preparation
🥣 A training on baby flour preparation was organized from August 17 to 25, 2026, for the populations of eight villages in the
prefectures of Kpélé, Avé, and Zio. The training took place successively in the localities of Nyuimembou, Dzokpé, Agbadjanakè,
Houvé, Hékpé, Bédikpé, Gati-Soun, and Fongbé Apédomé.
This training is part of the project “Livestock for the economic, social, and nutritional inclusion of populations affected by Leprosy and Buruli Ulcer.”
Funded by the Anesvad Foundation, this activity aims to strengthen the knowledge and skills of parents and communities in the preparation of
nutritious baby flour, suited to the dietary needs of young children.
👶 Through this initiative, the project helps promote good nutritional practices and improve children’s diets by highlighting the local resources
and products available within communities. The Anesvad Foundation believes that “feeding our children well today gives them the best chance to grow up healthy tomorrow”.
