The first stones of a new local church have just been put in Dzodjékondji district in the city of kpalimé. A city situated in the plateau region about 120 km in the West South of the capital of Togo. This missionary work that has started in year 2011 is by the actions of the Christian NGO ACDI in collaboration with the Church Of Redeemer of the North Carolina in the United States, to allow the Christian of the locality to have a modern and large building with offices, modern toilets, room of first care and a place of rest.
The works are being carried out for one week, with a participative and volunteer workforce of members of the church, helped by their sisters and brothers expatriates who were really committed in the realization of the project. The building was not finished at the first stroke. Another financing has been sent later to continue the works.
This activity is the initiative of Rev. Nathaniel president of ACDI, attended by Pastor kpotufe financial and administrative director and Rev. Buamah the national Director in partnership with North carolina construction team of the church of redeemer with Dean Falker as leader. This team held a seminar thereafter on the Christian leadership where more than 100 participants come from all Christian denominations, have been formed on how to manage their churches and their communities in a responsible and better way.
This new church of the community of kpalimé that has rejoiced a lot of heart is one of the Christian actions to the communities from the mission of the NGO ACDI.
