To form Christian leaders entrepreneurs, to exercise business activity for profit, on Biblical principles without having itself compromising with the worldly business system, was the objective of the training made to the beneficiary of the economic development project of the Christian NGOs ACDI at his head quarter on April 13th to 16th, 2015.
The topic of this training is “business as mission”, conveying the idea for profit commercial business venture that is Christian led, intentionally devoted to being used as an instrument of God’s mission to the world and is operated in a cross cultural environment . It’s gathered 49 participants from kpalimé, Tabligbo, notsè and Lomé. Pastors, deacons, and young graduate Christian without jobs were the candidates who have been selected through an interview, to benefit the support, advice and the financial assistance given through loan that ACDI offers with his partners through this project.
The missionary trainers Mr Denver Bartee, Rev Will Laros and Mr Greg presented a convenient program on the attitude of the Christian leader, how to hold the accounting, the practical steps in the research of financing, the writing of a business plan and how to contribute to the development of the local church.
The FAIEJ (support Funds to the Economic Initiatives of Young) a government's project that comes in help to the young in the realization of their project, has been represented by Mr. KOMINA, that explained the role, conditions of membership and objectives of the FAIEJ to the participants in the economic development program of the state.
After this general formation other meetings have been organized by the project in charge Mr Felix AMOUZU inside the country Kpalimé, Atakpamé, Tsévié and Lomé gathering together candidates living in the surrounding zones in order to assist them in the writing of their business plans.
The loan is given to the candidates with a rate and conditions of repayment below those of micro finance institutions. In October 2015, the studied and accepted projects will be able to benefit already the financing to start their business; the success of these first projects would condition those in the future.
