On the eve of the 2025-2026 academic year, the Christian Alliance for Integral Development distributed school supplies to orphans and vulnerable children. This initiative aims to alleviate the often heavy financial burden that parents have to bear as the school year approaches, so that their children can start the new school year in the best possible conditions. For two days, the project team visited five localities, including Tcharè, Soumdina-haut, Lassa-houdé, Bomdè and Lèziyo, bringing hope and encouragement to the communities.
The kits, consisting of school uniforms, school bags, books, notebooks, pens and pencils, slates and chalks, colored pencils, rulers and erasers, and additional materials for kindergarten (dishcloths, toilet paper, detergents, cups, dishes, spoons), represent much more than just material assistance. They are a lever of motivation for children and a guarantee of relief for families. “Thanks to this support, I can send my children to school without worry,” confided AGNONDOU Julienne, Parent of a student in Bomdè. SANGOYINI Jacob, Pastor of the EEPT district of Kétao, for his part, expressed his gratitude, emphasizing that education remains the key to lifting our communities out of poverty, and this gesture from ACDI strengthens our efforts.
